Your videos are fantastic. I am learning a lot. Thank you so much! How can I change the distance and bearing when they appear up side down?

@mike..Do you think you could make a Training video about making DENTILS automated in moulding? instead of pasting dentils one by one.

Hello? May I ask, how about when the bearing is higer that 90 deg? I got an error saying, "Please enter 0-90"
@miketaylor82113 жыл бұрын
Each bearing is either 90 East or West of North..... or it is 90 East or West of South. With all those options, you can point your Property Line in any direction you need. Since 90 plus 90 equals 180 x 2 is 360 degrees. I hope this helps.

I found this to be a great video but my tag is readable from left instead of right on the vertical ones

As long as the right information is there... you should be good. :)

So I have a question. I want to know if I can create a parameter for property lines that are too small, and rather use a symbol like "LS1" instead of having the entire description and then have a table/schedule describing all of the LSs bearings and distances.
@cjasonmatthews19963 жыл бұрын
I guess I should've specified I created a new parameter in the project called "Property Segment" and made it a Text Parameter so I can input a text value in the schedule like LS1 for Line Segment 1. The reason I am doing this is so my Property Line Schedule has three columns 1. Property Segment 2. Bearing 3. Distance Correlating to the site small and cramped geometries, with the purpose of not having so much information. I want to be able to tag by category those property lines and display LS1, LS2, LS3 etc instead of all the bearings information.

Those sound like great ideas. The Property Tag that ships with Revit (under Civil items) is generic. You can edit it any way you want to. Adding parameters that suit your needs is a perfect example!

@mike taylor is there a command in revit that produces lot description schedule?
@miketaylor8211 Жыл бұрын
You believe you can create a schedule of the property lines. Is that what you mean?
@myscape8843 Жыл бұрын
@@miketaylor8211 So that it can be edited from a table/schedule.
@miketaylor8211 Жыл бұрын
Oh.. I see.. well, the schedule for a true Revit Property Line can only ‘report’ what is in the model. You will need to actually change the Property Lines themselves… or use the property line creation schedule.
