www.leasinguni... Property Manager Training. Must Watch Property Management Training video from Leasing University. Simple, real-world property management training that gets leases.
Your location, price and, amenities won't handle objections and they won't close the lease for you. You must understand how to SELL renters on the apartment.
Traditional property management training can be overwhelming, out-of-context, and downright boring. Worst of all, most training programs skip SELLING & CLOSING altogether.
Property managers are left to figure out how to sell prospects on the community and close leases themselves. Not anymore; Leasing University changes everything, with proven training in interactive, contextual, bite-sized courses.

Hey Matt, is it important to build relationships with your tenants as a pose to just being there when they have questions/requests? If yes how would you advise someone who’s a bit more on the introverted/monotone side. Thanks! And love your videos!

I'm watching these because I'm preparing for a property manager interview, and I know you are asking his advice/input.. not mine. But, if it's worth anything, here's my suggestion (as a current tenant): people often realize when a person is introverted or not quite as social as they are typically used to people being. At times I think they may perceive introverts as rude or unfriendly (total misconception and I don't think the majority of people think this way, but 🤷‍♀️). I think one way you can sustain positive relationship with your tenants, and keeping it on a very light and still professional/formal basis, is to remain friendly with a greeting passing by, such as hi hello how are you... Every time you see someone. It doesn't have to go further than that. But they will know that You have a friendly rapport even if you are not very social or talkative with them. Because I think we can all assume, people aren't going to be saying hello or asking how you're doing if they don't like you. Or if they don't care to talk to you. So just doing that and making sure to promptly respond when they need help, even if it's just to let them know you received their message and you are working on it etc. I think that will go a long way and keep a good rapport around the property.

Quick question I was presented with what I feel to be a good opportunity but do have a lot going on I currently own a Junk Removal Company, Asphalt Maintenance Company, and helping on building a Cleaning Company. A new Client of mine reached out and needed a two-bedroom unit cleaned out they left everything behind. I got the job and landed the cleaning gig as well he said if you do a good job there will be a lot more. Completed the jobs. He was very happy with the outcome he gave me 5 addresses that he wants seal coated in the spring and also asked If I might be interested in being his property manager of a little over 200 unites these are houses and duplexes and he wants to push past 400 once he can put together a good team of people who are not afraid to work during a pandemic so here, I am trying to get some info should I stay away or go after it? what would be expectable for compensation?

Do you have any videos on tips for getting current residents to renew their lease with high increases? We recently raised the market value $300-$400 and it's killing our renewals. Help!

"To obtain financial freedom, one must be either a business owner, an investor, or both, generating passive income, particularly on a monthly basis." -- Robert Kiyosaki. I wasnt financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my second house already, earn on a monthly through passive income and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing is a grand choice I made..
