The 2nd property looks nice. But there's A LOT of open area. Ya, that's great when its not 100 degrees, or cold & windy, or rainy. Though the cows don't go in shelter much, they probably would like shade trees around. I've seen the cows in the shade on your property now a good bit. Especially in the hot summers.

No matter what others are saying --- find a place that you two wqill be happy with. Distance away from family members doesn't matter. Your daughter will adjust just fine. She will be with her daddy no matter where for she knows how much you love her.

I didn't like the 2nd property. No shade, no water, so far sway. I love Miss Judy's property. You never mention WiFi. If you tried to go live you would have a good idea how strong it is. Just my 2 cents.

BOTH are beautiful properties. 2 hours + away is a long driving distance from any family and much harder to get help when you need it or even visiting being so far away. I see mass amounts of weed all through the grasses of the 2nd property that you want to have checked for the poisonous type to cows especially. The 1st land had the thickest density and healthiest grasses imo and 2 buildings but grass and some minor clearing of brush trees has to be cut. Would be great if you could have that thick long grass bailed right away but that's a maybe right now. Can't wait to see the 3rd property and the things we haven't seen yet on the other. I like the 2nd so far but that's me. Good luck you crazy fun guy!

My daughter moved from Spring to just the other side of Woodville...2 hrs drive from her sisters and I.. It's horrible being so far from family... I don't like having her so far away...😢

And a driveway. Seems like a lot of extra cash involved.

I LOVE the last pasture... 2 hours is kinda far. What if you need the morrows help? Or they won't be able to watch little Jake as he's so far. Thats 4 hours round trip. Just a thought. Love ya!

Both of the properties in this video look great, BUT.....where is there any WATER? The land is so flat, that there won't be any "run-off", and you'd have to dig a large pond for your animals like Lester did. THEN, you could have the same "drought problem" if there wasn't enough rain to keep it filled. Just something to take into consideration when choosing which property you buy. Love that you and lyssa are actively looking for property to buy, and get away from the chaos/crime that has befallen Plum Grove. GOOD LUCK, JAKE....♥♥

Always knock on neighbors doors and ask questions. You can never count on a property owner telling you the truth. You also always want to ask them about anything coming in the future i.e. is there a development or big sprawling business proposed next to or across from you, etc.

Nice pasture, Is there power water, septic or sewage on these properties, that can be tens of thousands of dollars each to have it brought in. Check and see who owns the mineral and water rights too.
