as a first time buyer we are very grateful to be able to buy house as big (for my standard) as this one. for the lot area, the space are properly divisioned. the 3rd bedroom is big enough for my son. and what i love about this house, kitchen/dinner and living room have access to the garden and because of its width, houses like this tend to have a wider garden

First thing missing Coir matting. I am so used to seeing it now in your home tours in my mind it's standard. But this is a nice starter home.

Well done Tumi. Love your videos. Bellway has nice looking homes but they are small. After the pandemic, I'd think developers will consider more spacious homes? Especially as most UK home have no extra spaces. Bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and that's it. In winter people are in doors most of the time. No space for the kids at all. The homes these developers regard as "family homes suitable for growing family".... aren't suitable. They are best for couples.

Some really good points there, the construction industry should be more forwarding thinking but usually they respond to the demand. So there is a delay. If the demand for these spaces increases, I'm sure more developers will build them.

Relatively small house but with a layout that really maximises space.

70% of the time in the UK is spent in the house because of the weather. This house is a little too tight, too basic for £400k but hey, I guess that's the market 😕

How is 3 bed house 900 sqft, and cost $400,000 ridiculous! I've been away from England, too long. When I came to university in US, my 2bd apartment was 1,100 at that time I moved from my 460sqft flat. Now everything looks small to me.

Brick and mortar homes are expensive but you don't have to rebuild them after 30 or 40 years. Still it is ridiculous

True, more expensive materials to construct, in a smaller country, greater demand means space is a premium :), it's not just about the house, but the cost of the bare land on which it's built on. Fascinating really !

My Last Place I Bought a Bellway Never again the Place was Too small, storage was not very much and extra to pay on top for that, and they had a scheme running where you at to pay a ground Rent on top for the House even though you were paying for freehold that could go up each year or be sold on to other people to own if you could not buy it latter on your self,All in all quality of build the snaging list was a lot to put right and spoilt the joy of owning a new house the sales people suddenley became cold towards you if you complained to much All in all I would never buy New again

Why do british houses never have linen closets? Where do they keep towels and bedding etc? Do they just constantly strip beds and wash and replace the same sheets, towels etc?
