Prophecies of St. Kosmas of Aitolos ( Islamic Invasion of Europe )

The holy, glorious and right-victorious New Hieromartyr and Equal-to-the-Apostles Kosmas Aitolos (also known as Cosmas Aitolos, and St Cosmas the Aetolian) was born in 1714 in Mega Dendron, Aitolia, Greece, to a father who was a weaver and a devout mother.
He attended public schools, but was tutored by an archdeacon. He taught and then attended a school on Mt. Athos. He became a monk and later a priest at Philotheou Monastery where he remained for two years. After a time, he felt a calling to do missionary work in Greece, especially in the remote areas where there was a lack of churches and priests for the many unbaptized adults. As an aftermath of four centuries of Turkish oppression in Greece, Kosmas received the patriarchal blessing in 1759 to travel wherever needed, for however long, with complete independence, to breathe life back into Christianity in Greece.
Kosmas travelled in Greece, its islands, and Albania for 25 years, founding over 200 schools, as well as charities and rural churches. He travelled by foot, by donkey and by ship. When he came to a village he would ask the villagers to plant a large wooden cross in the village square. Then he would mount a bench next to the cross and preach to the villagers about the love of God and the Orthodox faith. The Muslims tried him on charges of conspiracy and sentenced him to hang in August 1779 in Albania. However, one account reports that he prayed and gave up his spirit before this could occur. St. Kosmas received from God the gift of prophecy, and was known to have prophesied of the telephone, airplanes, and aerial bombings. Patriarch Athenagoras glorified him in 1961. His feast day is celebrated on August 24.

This priest is completely wrong when he speaks about the examilia at 8:00. St Paisios specifically said that when St Kosmas was speaking about the examilia, he wasn't referring to the village ''deep in Greece near Corinth'' - The examilia is the six nautical miles around each Greek island. The Turks will attack some Greek islands. At the time the Turks attack Greece, they will close the Bosphoros Straits which means Russian ships will not be able to pass through to get to the Middle East. This will be the catalyst for Russia's war with Turkey. The Russians will descend not because they want to help Greece, but because it will be in their interest to do so. They will destroy Turkey and want to keep Constantinople for themselves, but the West will then get involved and attack Russia. At this point neither side will win and so much blood will be shed, that they will give Constantinople to Greece. Turkey will be dissected into three - Greek, Armenian and Kurdish.

Saint Paisios has a different interpretation of saint Kosma's prophecy. This is because the Eksamilia, sounds similar to 'eksi milia', meaning 6 miles. So the way Saint Paisios has explained this prophecy is that the turks will come within six nautical miles of Greece however they won't actually take over the country

This priest is incorrect about his idea of what is "Hexamilia". He refers to an old 6-mile long wall in Corinth, this is incorrect and ignores the rest of the prophecy. I wonder if he has read it in Greek or is just talking from his imagination? God help him...this is wrong to decieve... St. Kosmas objectively states 6-miles within the coastal boundary - that when that administrative boundary goes from 6 to 12 (hexamilia = 6miles). Great talk, can anyone direct me to the full list of prophecies? In English Some criticisms though, he didn't go into enough detail and he didn't bother to explain the meanings well enough. For example one of the prophercises was that the Greeks would become illiterate, if I was to take this as it was said it's objectively false. But he later clarified that Greeks are genuinely illiterate in the medieval Greek language Other time he said how the Orthodox will conquer Anatolia again with the help of blondes and kill, expel and convert Turks. Should we interpret Turks as literally Turks or should we interpret Turk as a synonym for Muslim? (Seems to me this is supposed to mean Muslim but he didn't clarify). Also he interprets blondes as Russian but I know for example in Serbian the adjective blonde is very often used to describe light hair in general, meaning light brunettes too. Under this context it would make more sense to interpret this as just the Orthodox Slavs in general Lastly, as a holy man he shouldn't have been so aggressive with showing his dislike of Turks. Although the Ottomans were not good people it's not appropriate for a holy man to speak from a position of hate

According to the Qur'an, the faithful Christians and Jews did not do what the unfaithful did; they obeyed their scriptures and worshipped God. But what about the their scriptures? Does the Qur'an consider the scripture of the Jews and Christians to have been corrupted by the actions of the Unfaithful? Or has it been preserved by the Faithful? Does the Qur'an consider that only part of their scripture now contains truth? To answer these questions we need to consider what the Qur'an says of the Jewish and Christian scripture. Aside from the absurdity of these claims, the problem with this man is that he is worshiping a being other than God. Jesus never taught this. Paul, who NEVER met Christ and who aided in the killing of Stephen (the first martyr of Jewish-Christianity), taught the concept of Jesus being God and redemption of sin.
