Ok the question was about inspiring sounds but also about inspiring synths: mentioning the piano, guitar or horns means there wasn't any inspiring synth when designing the Prophet-5 for Dave?

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the completely unspectacular (by comparison) monophonic Minimoog inspired polyphony, as did the multi voice sound of the piano.
