I have yet to find the magic sauce that keeps my gear in good sync via midi clock. It’s super crucial - as you state - and yet in my studio for 10 years and a half a dozen different usb devices, hubs, no hub, din midi - there are pros and cons of everything - and of course - always a financial solution to every problem
