What if, hear me out, the primary tiebreaker is points in head-to-head matches, then goal difference in head-to-head matches? On division realignments: I'd swap Carolina and Boston. Why a team from a town I've never heard of is in the *Metropolitan* division, while a team from one of the largest *metropolitan* areas on the East Coast is not?

I'd rather reward a team for being better in regulation hockey (results-wise) vs rewarding a team for being better in formats that a) promote radomness due to limited time/sample size and b) have nothing to do with the style of hockey that happens in the playoffs where neither that OT format nor the shootout exist. Add that onto this being such a niche situation that almost never comes up in the first place and I think the rules are fine

@@jamminnat Wings were still the better team across the board. Caps didnt have a start that was any better either.
