I live just outside of Benson Arizona. I'm moving to Fort Collins possibly next fall. I'll enjoy the hiking and culture. Benson is very boring but mild winters. Benson is very clickish

We have lived in Fort Collins for 30 years and honestly the area has changed so much, we hardly recognize it. I'm not sure I would still describe it as "old Colorado ".

Road Construction, hahaha, if the project management is like Caltrans in CA, it will take 10 years to finish. Then when it is completed, they will tear it up again to add "FastTrac" lanes that you have to pay for. Guaranteed to happen!

Houses have at least doubled in the last 20 years. We live in a average neighborhood, nothing fancy. We were told earlier this year our 2 bedroom, one bath home, 960 Sq feet is valued at $377,000. This week a house down the street that has exactly the same floor plan is up for sale, asking price $422,900. It's hard to find anything now less than $400,000.

Akoga17 Thank you for watching and congrats on going through nursing school! I wouldn't say that Fort Collins is adamantly against new residents its more of a growing pain for long time residents. Not to mention there are many new residents in the city who Im sure are very welcoming! Also due to their large medical system such as Banner Health and UC Health Im sure they would be happy to have more medical professionals!!!
