Baton Rouge is the rectum of "the south," and it's not even southern. It's more like the set from Escape From New York but it lasts forever, not just 2 hours. If you visit, have a full tank of gas and run flat tires.

Baton Rouge is kind of affordable but it’s getting more expensive as everywhere else is. But it can be a trap because people are here for work and can’t just get up And leave due to work school Etc

Everywhere has definitely gotten more expensive. Luckily for us, we still have a lower cost of living in comparison to lots of other big metros.

I appreciate your opinion, but I guess that's just a point that we would have to disagree on. There are lots of areas in BR that I love. Find me a larger city that doesn't have pockets with issues... it doesn't exist.
