Very informative Ulrika! Can you tell us more about the food and costs for eating out and groceries? What's are popular foods there? Also, it would be super to know more about the cost of renting versus buying. We are thinking about retiring there. Thanks!!

You might not be aware of this, but the palm trees you are thinking of are not native to Portugal, not even to Europe. The only palm tree native to Portugal is this the European fan palm. Personally, I think this lovely country would look so much better without those palm trees everywhere, I definitely prefer the trees native to Portugal to those imported varieties.

I love Lisbon, and is one of my favorite city. Unfortunately, I wasn't treated well. In day one, someone told me to fuck off because they thought I am Muslim (actually, I'm not). Overall I wasn't treated well. Nevertheless, I absolutely love Lisbon. :)

Yes, ATMs, here when you need cash (and most places only take cash), may take 20 mins to do it cause the lady in front of you is doing 345 operations, so gooooood, I totally understand Stokolm ATMs - Lisbonnhas no Beaches, the ones you mentioned have bad crowded long bublic transportations and by car is a Deep Nightmare to cross the bridge and park

Thank you so much for making these 2 videos 👍👍 Your Con list is so much more frustrating than the pro list. Palms and wine and food and nice beaches can be had in many countries and as a person who doesn’t care much for football I guess Portugal and Lisbon may not be right for my family... Thank you 🙏

The weather is a very controversial topic. What most people call "good weather" took more than 100 lives last year in just 2 days and burned over 500ha of land. More than half of that in the October fires alone. Then there was the severe drought and everybody started praying for rain. Then the rain came at the end of February and lasted the whole month of March. After just a week of rain everybody was complaining about it and praying for good weather. I live in a region that has become one of the hottest parts of Portugal in recent years and the Summers have been very hard to endure. I didn't like the hot weather very much before, now I positively hate it! Anyway, I liked that you kept saying "we this, we that". You're starting to feel a bit portuguese already. :D

You sound and look like an American. Food is great in Lisbon but it sucks in Alentejo. Very boring food. Modern living in the digital age is a drag anywhere - Portugal has done well with that i.e. ATMs Enjoy the country for what it is.....compared to what is happening in many parts of Europe and America we are very lucky to have the wonderful country. Read The Portuguese by Barry Hatton - you will love this book. Relax, go with the flow.....Lisobn is a special place. Portugal has a lot to teach the rest of the world.

Ana Martins até são giras... Sim senhora.
@warrel09
@warrel09 6 жыл бұрын
Ana Martins Oh Ana...
@warrel09

If ATM depended on me, the ATM would go bankruptcy. It makes me nervous, you never know if there is thief behind me, or there is a scam in the card slider in the machine might be a fake. Also you pay fees to withdraw money, it's insulting. Therefore I don't use ATM unless it's really, relay necessary.

portugal is very nice but you left sweden sorry didnt see your first video, but i probably can guess why you left and i dont blame you. lets see you left because your beautiful sweden belongs to the muslim invasion and your not allowed to walk alone without a male companion .i hope people back in sweden start fighting back to return to the old ways of sweden been there and i loved it, now its a terrible place for women . your running away from that. most of europe will be like that so portugal is no different, stop running away and fight back .
