PROS AND CONS OF LIVING IN OBERLIN OHIO!

I’ve been living here, in absolutely beautiful Oberlin, Ohio for the past 5 years, and I wish I could live here forever. Not only is this lovely little Town beautiful, it’s also conveniently close to practically everything: Post Office, the best Public Library, Kind and caring Police Station, Walmart, ect. People are so nice and friendly. Please try to visit Alladin’s Eatery, and try their delicious food, especially their Hummus.

Forgot to mention that I live in Public Housing and I’m conservative and I still love it! Everyone is so respectful and kind.

Oberlin,I go there at least once a month,Lupitas’ is an excellent Mexican restaurant. Aladdin’s is phenomenal. Now,Patty,you covered all the real estate/tax base stuff,and well done! Culturally,Oberlin,specifically college centric,it is Very liberal. As am I. But if you are of a particularly conservative slant,Oberlin may not be for you. Patty,you are the best! 🥰

Oh! Little fun fact: The Apollo theatre is actually owned by Danny Devito! His son went to Oberlin College,he wanted to give back to the community,as the theatre was under threat of closing down at the time(thanks to streaming movies and Netflix,where you don’t need to leave the house to see a movie). Also,the Frank Lloyd Wright house,it’s kinda falling into disrepair,it’s not being well taken care of lately 😞
