Go back to 1900 or so and youll see a Dr Griffin was the first physician for Kelley's Island. I bring this up BC he is my great grandfather. My dad's mom's dad. My grandmother, Harriet, was born and raised on Kelley until 1920 or so. Moved to Akron and met my grandfather, he became a co-founder of Portage County AKC and did contract work for the Arsenal. She was an art teacher at what is now Wooster College.

Hi. My name is Gail..I am in Orlando/Winter Park, FL area. It’s now 9/24 of 2024.. have a friend who moved up there about eight years ago. And I am enjoying this video to see more of what it is that she loves about the area. With all the weird craziness going on about Ohio, and the election..and me, being a radical political junkie who is crazy about truth and kindness, this was just what I needed this a,m. I am a musical rock and roller and everything else also. And hoping to make the trip up there sometime before I croak to get to the rock ‘n’ roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. Thank you for the lovely tour. As I said, a good morning watch.. peace and blessings to you and yours. Be safe. We need each other. And I’m a cat lady .. damn straight. 🙀🙀🙀😎🙀🙀🙀💙

My sister & brother & law lives near Marble Head in a community called Lakeside. It’s nice…but Sandusky looks like a boring town to me! Just parking lots & buildings with Lake Erie the only scenic site around! Yeah you got Cedar Point amusement park near by & a yacht club but that is it! Lots of bars & restaurants. But does not have any exciting scenery! Just Flat boring buildings & parking lots everywhere! Not for me…I’m in Pennsylvania….now interesting landscape…more variety of things to do…way better hiking! Thanks…but no thanks!

Video goes too fast. Having an audio to go with it would be helpful, so I know what i am looking at. Can only look at so many houses. Need more shopping centers, buildings, schools, parks, etc.

Back in the 60’s, when I was a kid, my family rented a cottage every year right across from the township park. Yesterday I went back to look around at this little town that I enjoyed so much as a child. So sad that the beach is gone. 😢 Two of the huge trees uprooted from last Tuesdays storm. It was a delight to experience my childhood with my husband. Lot’s of good restaurants and yes, lots of bikers.

❤ Nazi propaganda and the media have a problem with it and they tte are doing the opposite to 😮😢they have to stop this nonsense from spreading and spread to other people and their own countries too and it’s a shame that the world has been destroyed by the same people who are still alive and well and are still alive in the same way they are now and they are still alive today and they are still alive but they are still alive so they have no hope for their lives to come back and their future and they are not in this country anymore so I hope this country they will never know what is wrong and 😊

I grew up in Avon to the age of 12 and then my dad was transferred at his job (IBM) and we left (in 1966) for CA. It would probably be painful for me to see Avon now. In my time the population was 1600, and there were still s couple of farms within the town limits (technically a "village" then) .

Grew up in Shaker Heights in the 70's and 80's. I grew up with so many different types of people from a very young age. I learned about different races and religions and food culture. I would not trade that experience for anything. I feel comfortable around most people now. And I learned that we all have many common values and goals for our families.
