If you live on the bench with a valley view, Fourth of July fireworks are marvelous!

Hi, Thank you for your video. We recently just moved to Ogden in July from Hawaii. So far so good. It is cheaper, my husband works at hill and I’ve been working as well at historic 25th street lots of eatery places. Great people and lots of fun activities:)

Utah seems like a really good state to live in. Good people, politics, economy. I'm thinking the inversion(pollution) might be too much for some though.

I'm coming to Hill in February. I've talked to a few people that lived in Salt Lake and commuted that said it wasn't bad, usually about 45 minutes unless an accident or lots of snow, but that was about 3 or 4 years ago. Is it about the same now?
@CoryandRhondaBerdinner3 жыл бұрын
Hi BDonpwrlifter, it really depends on where you live in Salt Lake, and what time you are commuting. We also have some construction right now on both I-15 and Hwy 89, so that could slow things up a bit too. To be safe, I'd estimate more towards the high end of 45-60 minutes. Once this construction is finally finished, that should definitely streamline things a bit!

Is Ogden a good place to raise kids?

I was born and raised here in Ogden and there are lots of great activities for kids. During the summer, we have the Weber r.a.m.p. summer saturdays where you can go places for free like the Treehouse Museum, Eccles Dinosaur Park, Ott Planetarium, Ogden Nature Center, and Union Station. Not to mention there are lots of parks, swimming pools, and the Weber County libraries. It's a great place to grow up

We're actually a couple from Denmark with 2 kids (age 1 and soon to be 3), really wanting to immigrate to Utah and live, and Ogden just seems like the perfect match. We like the possibilities of an active lifestyle, seems school opportunities are close-by, and it all just seems very nice and welcoming! Do you know anything about work possibilities as an electrician, as that's what im getting educated as, before moving to the US (Ogden) to live? Else I could imagine SLC would have alot of opportunities there, too, if we moved maybe to the south part of Ogden for closer proximity .. :-)
@CoryandRhondaBerdinner4 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes, Ogden is a wonderful place to live. We love it here! As far as finding work as an electrician, there are several builders in the area as well as many electrician companies who may be hiring. We hope to help you with your move!

Are you mormon? If you're not you'll have hard time fitting in to society.

@@truckerforever We're not, but the church things like prevention of easily accessible alkohol wouldnt be an issue at all. Its more an issue if there's alot of bullying due to non mormon background

Main stream Mormons are a peaceful and practical people. They are more similar to Quakers and the Amish then they are to any other Christian religions; look out and be on guard for fundamentalist Mormons; the can be very dangerous.
