Sarasota has hard water. From faucets your often see it. the sorta chunky bubbling water thats high in viscosity. This is due to high minerals and way higher levels of sulfer in the ground. Bottle water is always the way to go. And you do get use to the practice of buying bottled water for drinking. As for cooking, the normal tap is fine. most people dont use bottle water for cooking, unless its cooking foods that are very sensitive to the properties of water.

This young Lady is spot on. And correct. A good friend of mine just moved to the area in late September. I took trips with him home shopping. Of the seven houses we looked at. Six were sold before our second visit back to area of Sarasota!!! He eventually settle for a New Construction and Now hes an official Floridian!!! I myself have been there three times since. And this is DURING this Pandemic. And the poeple are nice as she mentioned. Great place!!! I have several flights booked to Sarasota. And have flown out of the airport. Its was heavenly!!! Close. Not crowded. Super clean.

From just having moved here from the West Coast, it is way different than I expected. This video is very accurate! For a single lady almost 40,I wish I would’ve known how hard it is to meet people here, that is the one biggest regret of moving here to Sarasota. any recommendations for single Christian ladies looking to meet people in Florida are welcome lol! Thanks so much for the vid!!

Thanks for video. You omitted the con: crowded roads in tourist season. I was going to say horrible traffic, but that was my experience near road construction areas, so perhaps not endemic.

Thank you for the video, but the stuff that you were talking about relates to the entire Florida (some of the staff - to West of Florida). So, all that I heard from other videos that are talking about other cities/towns in Florida. We want to hear the specific stuff about SARASOTA only! For, example, why Sarasota is better (or worse) than Tampa or St. Pete or Naples, ... What is so special about Sarasota only - not Florida.

“Steering” is the practice of influencing a buyer’s choice of communities based upon one of the protected characteristics under the Fair Housing Act, which are race, color, religion, gender, disability, familial status, or national origin. Steering occurs, for example, when real estate agents do not tell buyers about available properties that meet their criteria, or express views about communities, with the purpose of directing buyers away from or towards certain neighborhoods due to their race or other protected characteristic. If a client requests a “nice,” “good,” or “safe” neighborhood, a real estate professional could unintentionally steer a client by excluding certain areas based on his or her own perceptions of what those terms means.100 years no hurricanes.
@LivingInSarasota2 жыл бұрын
That is indeed what steering means. As agents when someone says nice neighborhood that is very much based on one’s perception. That is why we always show our clients throughout the city, ask lots of questions and also we love hearing about the buyers current life. We provide all kinds of information and ultimately buyers can determine what is the best home and location for them. Thanks for your comments.
