There's a lot of these sort of clips, but this is definitely one of the better ones. Well thought out, relevant, short and to the point. Huntsman spiders- big, brown and harmless- most of the time. I was driving south towards the Sydney harbour bridge when one came in my drivers' window and sat on the dashboard looking at me. It then disappeared down a ventilation outlet, at which point I realised that like those action movies where the hero can crawl from room to room via the ventilation ducts without being detected, cars have one for spiders. I survived.

5 or 6 years ago unemployment was high, now not so much. Also now employers are less keen on paying overtime for a coffee shop out in the sticks especially in a state with less than 600,000 people.

I have lived in Australia all my life my ancestors came from Galway Bay in Ireland sent to Australia for stealing a sheep in 1838 the thing I love about Australia it is a democracy thanks to our British Heritage from 1788 it has also become one of the most multicultural countries in the world it seems to be where people go to escape repression and find freedom a land as old as time with the oldest culture in the world is so beautiful so alive you are welcome here ❤

@@Destinationhappinessvlog Depends what you’re into I guess. High populations are everywhere round the world so that’s a point of difference here. Not sure what you mean by quieter…. Perth has all the same stuff as other cities I’ve been to. But fwiw, Bill Bailey said Western Australia cracks open your soul. A recent survey by Flight Centre of 170,000 global travellers rated Perth the number one city to visit in the world. Sydney came in at 15.

You see, this is the problem when you're dealing with a country that supposedly has a quality work/life balance. You're going to have to forgo the convenience of having places open when it suits you. Why? Because the people who own, run and staff those stores also want a decent work/life balance. So plan for your needs and stop whinging.
