Keeping a real estate rental property occupied is a struggle that only a real estate investor could understand. The secret, in fact, to maintaining an occupancy rate is property management. However, the dilemma for many real estate investors is whether they should hire professional property management or do property management on their own. In most cases, the answer is YES!.
In this video, we are going to tell you more about the pros and cons of professional property management.

Hey Matt, I love that you made this vid, I mean I have transferable skill sets no specific industry experience and recently got hired as a property manager (60 Units, 5 floors, HUD, Section 8, elderly & disabled) so I feel like I really should watch this. I Like the way you present the information too because it feels like I am with you face to face. Thx! - New Sub here. By the way my favorite part of this entire video is at: 11:38 Hahaa!

To initially get into the business working for a company as a leasing consultant for example, do you need any prior work experience in the field? Because I have the knowledge of investment properties and things such as ROI, NOI, and CAP Rates but I don’t have any reputable experience dealing with these in the work force. This is something I am obsessed with and really want to get into the business. I already have plans to eventually own my own apartment complexes in the future and have read many books on the subject and watched countless hours of videos, just lacking the work experience. Thanks!

I also have a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration so I’m not sure if that will help at all, but I feel like it may have some effect just simply because of the 4 year degree.

Conner, Great questions. You’re spot on with the fact that they’re probably going to want you to have industry experience. That said however, I think I have an idea that will help you with that. Give my office a call I want to run something past you, the number is 888-735-7451

How is the schedule like for a property manager, is it flexible or is it closer to a 9-5 job where you need to be in the office everyday. Any info you can give on the work flow of a property manager And if it can be a side job... THANKS, and GREAT VIDEO.

Matt!!! I love the video and all of the great insights you have as always! I was wondering, however, if you still had plans to make a video on making the perfect- Leasing University and Matt Easton Approved- leasing notebook! I'm sure you've got a long list of "to-do- videos" but I've got something super special sitting right here on my desk just for you if you make that video for me ;) I'm excited to send it to you. You told me, that would be the perfect video for your channel also, and your viewers would absolutely love it and find it extremely helpful! So Matt, does it make sense to make the video? Let's lock this down today! Thanks Matt! -Spitfire721 🎯💯💰 See what I did there?! Learning from the best 🧠🎓🍻

I'm a 20 year old with no savings, no realestate experience, and very little nitty gritty factual information researched. Where do I start if I want to get into property management?
@LeasingUniversity
@LeasingUniversity 3 жыл бұрын
John Butts First off, you’re 20 years old so don’t worry about not having savings. You’re not supposed to have savings at 20. You should be making investments in yourself. You don’t need experience to get started in property management I have a few ideas that I’m very happy to share with you, call us at www.LeasingUniversity.com (888) 735-7451 and ask to speak with me. - Matt

@@LeasingUniversity I guess what she means by that is quiet straight forward.. You spoke for 30 seconds about subscribing alone and the titled video didn't really start until 02:30. Not that it is bad in any way, some may enjoy small talk now and then. I personally clicked on this video to save time and hear the pros and cons, and it was taking away focus at times. Could of been done in 10 min or so i guess. Helpful nonetheless. Thank you.
