PROS AND CONS of SHORT STARTER LOCS|My Experience

I started my own locs with 2 strand twist. My hair was like 2 inches and it was completely locd by like 3 months. Im at 11 months now and i love the length. I never thought a locd pixie cut would be soo cute!!! And yes confidence is through the roof

I have short locs and I'm 5 months in. They may be shorter than yours. Every pro and con is legit. I'm still growing in my confidences with them. It's a dialy process but I'm patient.

I started my traditional locs with loc extensions on fairly short hair and took them out six months later because I wanted to see my hair grow. They were still short when I took them out and I am glad I did because this week will be a year since I took out the loc extensions and my hair is now pretty much the same length as the extensions I had. I am glad to be able to witness my growth so I definitely think the pros outweigh the cons because I am constantly astonished by how long it's getting.

Hey Queen! Confidence is key. I'm patiently waiting for the crown of my head to lock! I'm still budding along! I will be patient for my second set!✊🏾💁🏾😍 No one is going to tell me anything! When I surpass the length of my first set then its like wow! You grew your hair long, cut it all off and grew it longer stronger and healthier than before. Thats what I'm aiming! Strength and health to equal the length. Length will come regardless. And I must remind myself that, be patient and ENJOY the second journey! Thank you Josette!

New subscriber here! I loooove your channel as I can absolutely relate with a lot of what you share. I shaved my head completely bald 4 months ago after rocking a short buzz cut for a while. It has always been my intent to start locs on fresh healthy hair. I'll be starting my jorney by the end of 2021. I'm certain that I'll enjoy every stage of the process as I tested my confidence while fully bald and was still able to comfortably be myself. Locs will be even better.
