Those MLMs are everywhere!! I just did what I thought was supposed to be interviews and I was brought to a whole presentation with other people... it was so unauthentic. It felt like mass invitation and was marketed as a job posting.

Dude, I "walked in" to a Zoom interview of 450 people last week Lol I was like uh.. this is def not it and left. Then "interviewees" texted me to see where I was. When I told them, they asked me why I wasn't interested. I was like "Been there, done that. No thank you." Some of them get so defensive too when you say its not what you're looking for.

MLMs work for some people. There are ones that don't require recruiting. BUT I always find MLMs don't have one focus, they're always selling more than just what they're supposed to be about and there's never enough real mentorship/support. Because they're too busy recruiting more people.

I just did a zoom meeting with a archer travel partnered with evolution and she was passionate kind and loved her job. She said I'd get to talk to her for every concern I have to get started so I am on the fence. I googled if they are mlm and it said yes but I'm not sure

Hi There, It really depends on what you are looking for. Some suppliers offer specific things for certain niches but consolidators do make it easy to have everything in one spot.

Thanks for the Info. I have been looking for years and trying to figure out how to get in this business. Just got hit up by an MLM and needed to check before I jumped into something I regretted. Kind of heartbroken again that its just kind of another scam like program. I have contacted other Agencies for jobs and turned down. I have started to work on my own Travel plans and figure them out myself and have done quit a bit of traveling. Just wish this was easier. Hi Rita! Great question. It depends on which host you decide to join. Some hosts will allow you to use your own business name & others will make you use the host name. It really varies from host to host.

What kind of commission is a TA making when selling cruises if working with a host agency?

Hi Crystal! Great question. First thing to know is if you are with a host, you will have a commission split. Usually 80/20 or 90/10 depending on your host. From the cruises you usually make commission of anywhere between 10%-15% depending on the cruise line. For example if you have an 80/20 commission split with your host & you sell a cruise to a family for 10K & the commission from the cruise line is 10%, then you would make $800. Most travel agents charge a fee as well! I hope that helps!
