As a longtime resident of Kitchener I can tell you rent and housing prices are ridiculously high. Condos are being built everywhere, they are tiny, over price, with exorbitant condo and parking fees. Housing prices are still over priced. Our formerly quaint downtown is a mess. This is a city that wants to be Toronto but has neither the funds or know how to accomplish it. There is constant road construction and road closures that are not well planned. Think twice about coming here.
