I think what they mastered in the first song that they can’t recapture in other songs is that literally EVERY single thing in that song is unnerving and scary. You don’t even get four beats before the song gets faster, the speed that it is increasing at is irregular, and the noise of the notes is off-putting. In other songs they try to refine it but it just doesn’t do the same job that the first song did which was “YOU ARE GOING TO DIE SO GET SOME AIR”
