The first boss in this game was always a very mysterious one, all you see is an eye and two tentacles, the fact that it's not the same boss as the secret one is just left me wondering what could it be.

I've played R&C2 tons of times and only today (literally now that I'm writing this comment) found out that The *Swamp Monster* has a second phase (and it is also difficult). I had never given too much importance to that magnetic ladder of the first planet (most of the time I forgot about its existence), I thought there was only a Platinum Bolt, when instead I discovered that it was hiding a secret boss, I was amazed. Guys, this game may have come out almost 20 years ago, but it still continues to surprise me. What an amazing game, I love it.

+The typical Mythical You missed the point. The fact the boss IS hard is the reason it's the worst boss. It has an insane HP stat, and the entire boss fight is basically a 20-30 minute turret section. If you die at any point, you have to start the boss fight over again, meaning 20-30 more minutes chipping at the boss's health. Add to the fact there is multiple ways to exploit your way through the fight (One example being standing in an exact spot where the boss can't reach you, and you basically take pot shots the whole fight), makes it a horrible boss, in a horrible and unbalanced level, in a great game.

if you have the tankbot glove you can beat him in 5 minutes without taking any damage, or you can take away a massive amount of his health out 1. go towards the area that is closest to the lava. 2. go behind the buildings that is closest to the lava 3. the boss cant shoot you 4. get the tankbot glove and then keep shootin at him, and when the timer is at 1 second detonate it 5 keep doing it until he dies or u run out of ammo

Extremely expensive, but totally worth it. (And I forgot to mention the other OP weapon in Up your Arsenal that does the lightning attack and kills every enemy on screen)

They're big enough to require significant amounts of firepower to bring them down. I like to think of them as mini-bosses. Same with the hover tanks and Thugs-4-Less helicopters

Ratchet Rampage Actually, I think he used Gameshark or something similar. There's no way he could have collected 1,000 crystals in the desert area because there are only 100 on that planet. Also, judging from his weapons and health it's his first playthrough because nothing was leveled up, so he couldn't have grinded to that point either.
