Here 9 months later after having watched most of the trial and I think the idea that the defendants “committed crimes on behalf of the gang” is where the case is going to fall short. Besides the fact that they forced the ones with plea deals to agree that this was a fact, the evidence just isn’t there that these crimes were committed in furtherance of the “gang”. I still think they should’ve prosecuted these crimes individually but my guess is the RICO is what’s gonna make it fall flat.

Everybody involved in hip hop community is aware that YSL is a music group/recording label who’s employee and gave more opportunities to young men & women than the local DHHR in these communities in ATL/Fulton ave.!
