Well done Sir, you are correct. Even folks that are pro second amendment forget 1 or 2 of the rules. YOU CANNOT forget ANY of the 5 rules when handling ANY firearm. So, the prosecutor pointing a firearm at the jury is admissible and found to be acceptable in our nations court of law. That is a scare tactic used to make the jury fear for their lives. It's now a hung jury on grounds of persuasion via mortal fear. This attorney is trying everything in the book to get a mistrial so he can retry this case when he has more time to actually build a case against Mr. Rittenhouse. I can't answer all of those questions with certainty, but I can tell you what the evidence would support after watching the trial. 1. It seems he was a volunteer. 2. As I recall he was helping a friend whose father owned the property. 3. It seems he was not part of any type of militia or group according to what I've seen. 4. The type of gun should not matter here, it's about having the composure and maturity to handle a scary situation like he was in. I highly doubt many 17 year old kids have what it takes to deal with that regardless of what type of weapon they are using. 5. Lots of people were armed out there ranging from self proclaimed communists, to anarchists, to looters, to people looking to help. But to answer that question I'd say yes, there are others like him.
