Nice Kit Fox. The wildlife in the desert is very sparse til night falls. I'd go out and set under the stars and wait an hour and then the critters would start to prowl. I'd see jack rabbits and kit foxes and all kinds of mice and rats. It helps to have a night vision scope.Prospecting is still good now but it's going to get hot soon with April only a few weeks away. Quartzite will soon be a ghost town with all the snowbirds heading north.

@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK9 ай бұрын
When starting out, you must have a proper metal detector that is known to find gold. The fisher gold bug two is amazing. However it has a bigger learning curve. The mind lab gold monster, 1000 is easier to use and find gold very well.Pulse induction metal detectors punch, deeper than VLF metal detectors. The AC 200 is doing you no good.

I went out yesterday for the first time with my new Equinox 800 I tried what you do laying the detector down to wave the scoop over the coil, what I'm finding is as soon as I lay the detector down it starts to scream? It doesn't matter where I rest it? As soon as the shaft is horizontal it starts making noise that I can't use it to scan the scoop? I tried different modes. It's been noise cancelled. Why does my 800 do this? I'm using the 11" coil still trying to get the 6" . Probably going to buy it online and hope it gets to Quartzite in time so it can use it before we have to head out of the LTVA.

That trap looked like a victor#2 possibly#3 double long spring. Foothold trap. Perfect size for coyotes. Nice find. If there's no tag showing the owners info you're legal to take it. If there tags on it the owner is facing fines

at 5:06, ummm your flawed opinion is noted. and, i feel compelled to say that, that sort of test is NOT telling you how well the detector works, in a real world situation. ALL that NEEDS to be done to change that is to pile some DIRT and rocks on top of your planted target. but, oh well.

Sorry, it does apply. Most people should only be hunting bedrock with the Gold Bug 2 anyway. . The air test is only to see if the detector can even see the gold at all. As explained in the video. Depth tests in air are the ones that are flawed. I think your misinterpreting the two different types of air tests
