Seal of Command is 100% worth while leveling and into Heroic and Naxx. If you plan to do any solo questing it will drastically increase your ability to pull more mobs as a solo quester.

why put 2 extra points into conviction when you can put them into sanctity of battle and it just be strictly better... the same 2% crit but also exorcism damage +10%??

In 3.3.5 Exorcism has a 1.5 sec cast unless you're retribution and take the Art of War talent, and have that proc up. So, regardless of where you end up putting it, the only benefit is 2% crit.

@@checklogs3323 it's common to use exorcism during pulltimer for initial threat with most fights. Sanctity of battle is better to run.

I won’t say this guide is really wrong but some things are false . You won’t have an issue hitting 540 in pre raid . I always have the opposite issue i usually have way over defense cap and have to pick and choose which piece I wanna switch out for other stats . Also I tuned into a few of your streams on Beta you weren’t running blessing of Sanc and that’s a absolute must it’s much better than kings or might. for the gearing guide I wouldn’t include SWP gear as the only piece you list because a lot of players are gonna be new or boosted and it’ll be a MAJOR waste of gold to try for get a GDKP just to buy those shoulders that aren’t really much better than alternative options .

I'm honestly curious about something Could you not go for some PVP gear to supplement for defense and if so what is the conversion of that because I have been told if you get resilience that can almost count as well as defense but I don't know what that conversion is and I've always been curious about that. Because I have seen some lists that actually say to go for the blue PVP helm because of all the Extra stamina and it's a lot easier to get than the epic blacksmith crafting helm I was just wondering about that ?

Blade Ward's proc chance is too low (15% I believe) to be worth above Mongoose (which will be around 70% - 80% average uptime). Blood draining might be worth it, though.

Prot pally is not a rotation it is a priority list. You hit whatever main spell comes off cooldown first

Why would you gem defence and not resil? Takes less to reach cap.

It depends on whether the resil would allow for freeing up gear choices in other slots, but if it not then the reason for defense is that it gives you avoidance. Every skill point gives you 0.16% avoidance, 0.12% of miss/parry/dodge and 0.04% block

@@Brownboy42069 idk man, in my opinion the amount of dodge/parry you get is so miniscule, i'd rather gem pure resil and free up 2 gem slots to put raw stamina in instead

@@brandonchelsea4506 It's all balancing act! I think most of the time it really just depends on what gear you have on hand to make the actual tradeoffs. Sometimes it works out if you've got the swaps ready, other times you're optimizing whatever you're stuck with

Are there no mana issues at 1/2 spiritual attunement? I see some build taking 2/2. Also, I see a lot of prots take 2/5 reckoning, will you consider this talent with parry haste on?

Once you have Divine Plea it provides the majority of your mana returns. You don't need points in spiritual attunement beyond just activating it

@@lol_dab Absolutely sure. There's even less mana pressure in raids because of 1) the sheer amount of damage you're taking and getting healed from and 2) the half a dozen ways that raid buffs now give you mana from different classes and specs.
