Hey Zatar, having trouble capping the soft cap of expertise while getting the gear (not while being full BiS), do u think I should try to keep it capped? Or maybe it doesn't really matter. Thanks!

If you are progressing hitting def cap and maxing ur sta/ehp is most important. Threat is not a problem at all with non-bis dps. But staying alive with healers still gearing is.

Can you explain more about what resil does, why the +15 shoulder enchant is better, how does it help crit immunity cap? For example for those that don’t know you can get away with around 537 def with the shoulder enchant

Each point of resilience reduces your chance to be crit by about .01%. You can use resilience instead of some defense to become crit immune. On your character page just combine the crit reduction you get from resilience with the crit reduction you get from defense. They need to total to more than 5.6%

Honestly, for early gearing, You can really equip anything based on ilvl. High stam and high defense is good.

I'd also love a pure 10 man video tbh. The entire content creator space focuses entirely on 25m which makes a lot of the content less useful.

Most 10 man items are on par with heroic items. In wrath a lot of these items are similar, you just go with your characters best stats.

Hey man! I’m a warrior main from vanilla to current retail. I’m just now for the first time going prot to tank for a 10 man of RL friends through naxx, would love if you could highlight the 10man stuff a little more here cause I’ve never really geared for a tank and the raid BiS is all 25 here. Did appreciate the pre BiS vid cause I’ve been soaring through world tour heroics everyday with hella ease. Just the 10 man vs heroic gear is grey to me cause the gear looks dope but I lose so much crit immunity. As a 10 man guild am I just already geared minus the 4-set?

Honestly, just going with high stamina and 540 defense will get you far

How did it go? I’m in the same boat, hc gear will smash you through nax10 with some pretty good ease tbh, you can already have valour ring and tier set bonus x2 before you even step foot into the raid

Question about something else regarding warrior. So paladin are said to be the best aoe farmers.. have you tried and lvl80 warrior aoe farms or solo dungeon farms? How efficient is it?

tier helm have good stats yes buth 35 stamina is just too good

Well you have to factor in the 12 stamina socket bonus, because you need a red for meta anyway. It also has high defense which is hard to get phase 1, and will cost you stamina if end up lacking crit immunity (which you almost always do).

hmmm there's really no progression in this phase 1 wotlk.. my guild which was 2/6 sunwell pre nerf basically downed everything week 1 of this phase

I am going to main a dk, and alt a prot warrior. The video was not intended as “don’t play prot warrior”, rather was trying to explain why warriors are not preferred for the more difficult content later for those that don’t know why they have a bad reputation. Warriors are still viable and even have strengths the other tanks lack.
