Well yes but actually no One two or even 3 kills is fine since you share the gold, you're still getting 450 gold. But some games we all feel way weaker than we should cause instead of 9 kills on mid top or adc we have them on the tanky support or jgl and there the gold deficit on the enemy carry that got abused but managed to pick up his kills actually wins fights for them. In competitive who gets the kills doesn't matter cause they can play around the pressure of a single pick 1 for 0, out of competitive, gosh people can barely do something off an ace, so in order to actually win you literally have to get all the gold you can XD
