I think i started playing 1 or 2 years before Nunu got reworked, Ezrael used to look like Jack from Jack and Dexter, Aatrox was fun to play for everyone and Voli used to be more cartoonish and f broken

I remember maining old Sion as a jungle main for two seasons straight, despite the Health cost on his E (empowered his autos making you lose health per auto for tons of dmg) - he was an insane counterjungler early, i remember Level 2 going from red straight to enemy jungle and just clapping mobs and champs in there.

I yearn every day to play old Aatrox one more time. Genuinely one of my favorite characters in the game and I wish with everything it would come back. Auto Attacking top laner with self heals, a self ress, gap closer, CC, and an awesome thematic. Either him or old Akali. I feel like both kits would make them significantly better than what they are now.

@ oh I’ve tried it before. Nothing will ever compare to his old W though. Being able to toggle that back and forth to get extra damage or heal yourself to full mid combat was so fun. I wish these simple yet effective designs would come back instead of having characters with 4 different passives and every buff/heal/shield/gap closer/CC in the book

A lot of the reworks were much needed and very fun.... but there are certain skills that were so iconic and fun. Galio Ult, AP Sion Stun and Shield, Skarner Ult, Fid Crows bouncing a million times, Morde whacks and ghost copy

Problem is they would kill the champs identity/playstyle doing it, which for the mains ruined it completely Fiora was the one champ i just clicked with and I've never recovered that level of enjoyment of a champions kit after the rework

Ironically enough, he had more skill expression back then instead of “proc passive, hit a Q, statcheck in death realm” version of his kit today. I remember complaining so many times about the bugs and spaghetti code, but you never really know how good you got it ‘till it’s gone forever

i miss the old nunu got me to gold but here is nothing more oppressive than a nunu tagging along with a adc buffing them with attack speed and move speed and non stop using a point and click nuke, at least now the new nunu Q does 200 damage more than the only one so no one can outsmite you and his e total ap is 50% more as well plus another damage spell with w so all is not lost.
