Have a look at the Mars Hydro FC 3000 then, great ligth, 300W Samsung Led Power with High PAR output, and a bit cheaper. Enough for 1m x 1m Growspace ;)

Dirk I use 4xts1000w in my 4x4. I started with 1 I buy a new one each time i can afford it being disabled and on fixed income makes it hard to be able to drop 500+ on anything other then a house payment. I like your suggestion tho so thank you

This is the exact same thing as the Vivosun VS4300 LED. Looks like everyone's rebranding now.

Currently this appears to be the most efficient design for its intended market. I saw this type of design when OpticLED brought out their Slim series, but soon realised that design was not unique to them. Do you know when the VS4300 LED came out? Interestingly, on the Amazon website, it says the VS4300 is a patented design. I’ve just been to the Vivosun site and it appear they have dropped this design.

You said that the 430 watt model fits into a 4x4 area. Their website states 127 cm in length though, which would make it impossible to use in a 4x4 grow tent. Could you clear this up for me/us ? I am looking for a light that can perfectly cover a 3x5 grow tent. The SP6500 from Mars Hydro is a good option, but the light is way too focused in the center. You would have to hang the SP6500 very high in a grow tent to make it useful. If the Pro-Tech 430 watt model is indeed 127 cm, then that might be a way better option for a 3x5. Brad we don't have cheaper rates here. It's 12.5 cents a kwh. We are robbed in Newfoundland by our own government

It is good ,but I not happy with how far the par drops off on the sides , it seems weak for a good 3 x 3 foot print ? Start veg at 25 percent . When you flip to flower you go to 50. This gives you same photons in have time so you don't lose on the 12 hr dark. Then at week 3, 75 and week 5/6 100. If the tent is full across and 2 ft deep in buds. Any less plant needs less light or it will stay small from too much light.

@@mediasteve1843 exactly, I own 3 Gavita 1700ePro LED fixtures. They were very expensive but are great fixtures. That being said there is companies out there more expensive than Gavita. If you want quality but don’t want to spend money.....then enjoy the likes of Spider Farmer and Mars Hydro and if you want to get even cheaper then buy some real cheap budget no name lights. At the end of the day ALL lights will grow. Some have better quality parts some have better service etc. When you buy a car......do you always buy the cheapest damn thing you can find?.... Or do you look for certain things in each brand? Can’t compare a Ferrari to a Ford sorry.
