Think I'll have to grab one, I'm a fidget whore and that sound is sweet. Have to throw it on the kme.

Yeah man it’s definitely good for fidgeting and has a lot good going for it. I think I would of been happier with the Mordax and it’s a shame because I could have gotten one for cheaper but oh well! I’ll probably sell this or trade it.

Important note: Only the stop pin screws & pocket clip screws are T6 on the Malibu. The pivot & rear body screws are 1/16 or 1.5 mm hex screws. Good video though! I just received my 13th, & have my 14th Malibu on the way. I promised myself I'd stop selling them starting with these two, haha!

I ordered the Malibu (on recent restock) to gift to family member. I couldn't believe how small and slick the Malibu was in my hands after unpacking. Worst part was the horrible lock stick that I couldn't remedy. I returned and bought a Spyderco instead . Glad I never bought into the hype originally when these first came out. People I trust in the community also said the blade didn't have good cutting geometry. Thanks for your honest opinion

I love my Malibu... like love love love it...although mine is definitely not 20cv.... but that's OK....and at least for me........ the last thing it needs is help on the closing.....definitely doesn't need any assistance when closing... it literally drops shut

Hey man great video. And I am in the same boat man! I love the knife for looks and opening. But I hate it when it comes to an actual knife. When I carry my spydercos I only carry that. Not because of the size but because I dont have to need it. When I carry the protech I have to have a benchmade bugout, mainly for the size, to do all the actual real tasks.

Thanks brother 👊🏼

By speeding up the cut test it made the knife look like it was flying through that cardboard. Just something to think about for next time. Good luck with the channel

How do break the lock tite lose without stripping the screw
@BLADESANDFADESOFFICIAL2 жыл бұрын
Great question! The most important thing is having quality torx because the majority of them are made with unhardened steel and they deform and that often leads to stripped screws. You want your bit or your driver to fit snug in the screw head. I recommend Wiha and if you go to my newer videos they are linked in my description. Second thing is making sure you are hitting the screw straight on and not at a angle and also keep the bit firmly pressed down into the screw. 3rd part takes some time to develop a feel for but eventually you kind of know a screws limit or how much force it can handle and you don’t want to try and force it past that limit. If you do all those things and it doesn’t break free you can try applying heat to it to melt the loctite by using a soldering iron and apply heat to the screw and then try again! Hope this helps!

Try Wiha torx bits. I haven’t stripped a screw since buying mine…and they are cheap

Thank you for showing the flaws of your Malibu. I think the same - it is unacceptable at this price. So I will buy a Spyderco Smock.
@CapFlipGaming2 жыл бұрын
The Smock is nowhere near as good. Just wanted to warn you before you spent the money.
