If you have problems with birds stealing an unfair percentage of your fruit, this is an easy and cheap way of protecting your fruit. I got these bags on Amazon last year for around $10 or so. They worked really well so I wanted to do a tutorial this year.

Birds are beneficial to your garden. They eat pest larvae. Try to grow more native berry plants, plum trees, and blackberry plants to let the birds have more fruits so that they may not bother too much with your grape plant. My Indian plum and purple leaf plum trees have hundreds of small to medium plums that I will never be able to finish even by making plum wine. Blackberries are crazy prolific too. I can share all my fruits with all the birds with no problem. Birds will also accidentally plant more fruit trees for you too.
