Thank you so much. Much needed vid. This saw is in my future purchase. Without this video I would have made so many blade keeping mistakes and probably would have bought some knock off which will be costly in the long run. Manufacturers blades all the way.

In the UK you'll pay around £65 for a Gryphon made blade which is ridiculous for what it is, or £20 for a "knockoff". In my experience (literally hundreds of hours fragging) I find "knockoffs" last about as long as the Gryphons & are usually ok quality wise. I've had bad Gryphon & bad "knockoff" blades over the years, maybe you are slightly more likely to get a bad "knockoff" blade but considering I can buy 3 of them for the price of 1 Gryphon blade it just makes sense to buy the 3 pack, which should last at least twice as long if not more vs a single £65 Gryphon blade.

I was hoping for a little more explanation for mistake #1. Why is it a mistake to use RO water in the saw? Are negative effects for the coral or is this just a time saver by using the water from the container holding the coral on standby?
