Protect Your KTM 890 Duke! Givi Crash Bar/Engine Guard Install (Don't make the mistake I did!)

Part of our 890 Duke Touring & Adventure Setup Series - These engine guards by Givi looks great, protects your bike, AND gives you additional spots to mount footpegs, bags, cameras etc! So far I love this mod.

For long distance riding a “stretch your leg peg” attached to the crash bars is a must.

Looks good. But it's not clear how much of the bike does it protect. Could you, please, lay it down gently (don't drop!) on a tarp on the floor to see what parts are touching?

nice! Im strongly considering these as well.. question: does the bar cramp the shift lever at all or interfere with function or comfort? tough to tell with the angles but it looks like it could - thanks

Hi! They don’t interfere with either for me at all - I don’t even know they are their when riding. (And I’m wearing large/thick toed Harley Davison Boots) 👍

I had to adjust the shift lever a little bit higher so that it doesn't interfere

I have the same bike since last Monday, and I've been looking for some bars to protect it, I found these from givi but as they are supposed to be for the 790 I had doubts, thanks to you doubts cleared! Do you think they also cover the radiator in case of a fall? I have not been able to find a photo with the bike from the front to see how much it sticks out.

Yes they work on the 890 perfectly. They do stick out slightly further than the radiator so it should guard it as well!
