Govinda Prabhu is a senior disciple of H.H.Radhanath Swami, his interest in Krishna Consciousness dawned during his youth days. He moved in as a full time preacher at ISKCON Chowpatty in 1987 and is currently serving in the capacity of Co-presidents of the temple. Along with being the Temple President he was also the leader of the traveling sankirtan party of ISKCON Chowpatty for 5 years. He conducts leadership seminars and istaghosti programs for the devotees regularly. At the same time he is very close to the children of the congregation devotees and is very much loved by them.
Chaitanya Charan Das is a monk, spiritual mentor and author.
Building on his engineering degree from the Government College of Engineering, Pune, he has studied extensively the philosophical and sociological ramifications of modern science. Complementing his scientific education is his keen spiritual sensitivity honed by systematic and sympathetic study of the bhakti tradition for over two decades. He has been an invited speaker at several international conferences on the interface of science and spirituality, including the World Peace Conference 2006 and World Peace Congress 2008 organized by UNESCO. Based in India, he has given talks at colleges and companies all over the world from Australia to America. His writings appear regularly in several Indian newspapers including the reputed Speaking Tree column in The Times of India. Apart from 300 analytical articles (available at www.thespiritualscientist.com) and 4000 inspirational daily meditations on the Bhagavad-gita (available at www.gitadaily.com), he is the author of 25 books on a wide variety of subjects ranging from Science and spirituality, socio-cultural analysis of religion, and the ancient texts of India, especially the Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavad-gita
He is a member of ISKCON’s leading intellectual body, the Shastric Advisory Council, which offers scriptural advice to the GBC (Governing Body Commissioner). He is an associate editor of Back to Godhead, ISKCON’s global magazine. His writings in English have been translated into several foreign languages including German, Chinese and Romanian and several Indian languages including Kannada, Telugu, Bengali, Hindi and Marathi.

Bhakti does not demand immediate transformation. You can continue being you and still practice Bhakti and get transformed gradually.

@@pns5013 yes you can do both. Bhakti is to do with your internal devotion to God. And History is to do with our side world. For eg. If a some one is practicing Doctor but at his homw he is following some religion which has nothing to do with doctor.. so doing both is common thing on everyone's life.

@ChaitanyaCharanPrabhuji can u talk about fall down of Bal Govind prabhu from Pune Iskcon temple who was a brahmachari but married a mataji who is a wife of some other prabhu. Also, in Sri Sampradaya, it is mentioned that in kali yuga, brahmachari ashram is not allowed or is not permitted. can u throw some light on to it

@VT - I asked about this to HG Radheshyam prabhu, President of ISKCON NVCC Pune Temple. He said as follows : HG Balagovind prabhu practiced his brahmacari life in the Ashram as a ideal student and teacher at our Temple and has touched and transformed the life of hundreds of Congregation devotees. When he decided to move to next Ashram, Grihasta Ashram, he married one of the divorcee lady in the Congregation, with the blessings of his and her parents. Since he did not elop with any married woman and since he did not misbehave with any woman inappropriately, it would be offensive to call his marriage a falldown. The Congregation leaders seeing the disturbance of some devotees due to this marriage requested HG Balagovind prabhu to not take leadership for a period of four years between 2020 to 2023 and he accepted the same. He is a gentleman and a brahmana and he did not act whimsically without blessings of his parents and the lady’s parents. In Kaliyuga people have a tendency to cook up more than what is true because they don’t take shelter of Holynames and Holyfame of Lord Hari.
