As a new witchling (I love that you called it that haha), I would start with learning how to ground yourself before jumping into any spell. This technique is important in witchcraft as it helps you to be energetically centered, focused, balanced, and strong. It also helps you to reinforce your connection with Mother Earth. If you already know how to ground and center yourself, just jump right in! Focusing on your intentions is extremely important before, during, and after a spell. Hope this helps!

is it okay if i don't add sandalwood, lavender, egg shells? can I use others crytals like tiger's eye instead of smoky quartz?? and can I use grounded blackpepper?

You can substitute or change anything you'd like! My spells are meant to be a starting point. It's always a great idea to put your magical flare to them

Also a great alternative: Step 1: prepare Get some saltwater and draw a pentagram (for protection) on the door of the room youre doing it in Step 2: ingredients -salt -round pepper (not grounded up) -paper -pencil/pen -cinnamon -incense -candle Step 3: make! •after drawing the pentagram on the door, light incense and a candle, put a little incense ash in the jar to cleanse it. Leave the candle burning •pour salt, then pepper into the jar •get a piece of paper, draw a pentagram on it and crumple it up, and put it in the jar •add cinnamon •close it •pour the wax from the candle onto the lid to close it shut so no spirits destroy it Hope i helped!

I would add in mugwort to this for astral projection. It not only can help aid in this, but can also protect as well.

You can absolutely leave it unsealed if that's what you want. The real magick is in the intention and the energy you put into it. I just personally like to seal mine, but it's totally fine if you don't.

im confused on how this works. for example if i would be doing a honey jar spell and i want to protect my self how would i do that? do i make the jar that you made and when im done with the protection jar THEN i do the honey jar?

You could make a jar spell using honey. Just add in herbs that correspond with protection and then fill it with honey. Just remember, honey is slow moving so the outcome will be slow moving and is used to sweeten the outcome. If you do use honey, be sure to use a jar with a lid, not a cork. Hope this helps!

It's easy to make black salt. You can use any table salt as a base, and then add activated charcoal, ash, or a ground up charcoal incense burner tablet (inexpensive to order from Amazon, I think I recently paid about $7 for 100 tablets). That's the basic recipe. I also add a few ground up protective herbs and spices to mine. I recently got my tub of powdered activated charcoal for $4 at a craft store.

I would stick to candle wax personally as it's more natural than glue. However, you don't have to seal the jar at all. That's a personal preference
