I kept my hair in consistent marley twists for 2.5 years straight and it grew like crazy from just below my shoulders down to my waist. I left it alone. Moisturizing every day or every other day. And taking it down every 2.5-3 months to wash/condition my hair.

Can I ask your hair porosity? You don't have any issues with shedding or matting washing every 2.5 months?
