You can imagine, Van Gogh, Picasso, and Britney with the vegan sliders. Be nice to the poor thing. She's a nice white girl. She takes good care of herself and always puts on sunscreen. She is very talented and knows how to play ultimate frisbee. She walks into my house with her "family doctor" and talks about normalizing ADD. Mama, I understand that you don't like her unisex apparel. If it wasn't for her I would have never seen White Lotus. This little witch with her Pintrest talking about "hey man... But don't tell me that you are going to marry her or have a long term relationship, okay? I don't care if you mess around with her for a one night stand... @@andreasanchez1453 My dad's mom was a devout Protestant & was not initially happy about my Catholic mom joining the family. I've never really understood why, and my mom probably doesn't either, but for whatever reason, my mom was the only one in the family who could call Grandma on her shit. I should also note that Grandma was.....very racist. To wit: I was born the same year that Cabbage Patch dolls were the hot thing. Mind, I was at most 3 months old at that Christmas and my mom tried to talk her out of it, but Grandma insisted on buying me one. So as they were digging through whatever was available, my mom pulled a black doll from the shelves and said to Grandma, deadpan, "I like this one." She was met with an exasperated "*Oh, Aggie*"

As a black Mama and the daughter of a black Mama, this was like looking at my life. 🤣 When I brought my white boyfriend (now husband) home, I made sure to let the parents know he came from a religious family first or he might not have made through the door. Mom and I both have special containers for bags and my husband's family looked at me crazy the first Christmas when I carefully folded up all the bags AND tissue paper. And if someone brings food to mine or my mom's house (unless it's dessert) and we've cooked for everyone, you might as well have spit in our faces.
