Hi Steven. That loco is a beauty. The 0-4-0's, 0-6-0's and 0-8-0's were mainly built as yard switchers rarely venturing out onto the main lines. The Union Pacific box car is a 40' Hi-cube car (not seen in real life anymore) and I know that the models were available in the 1970's. cheers, David.

@trainsontuesday Hi David, this loco is pretty good, I'm amazed how well Lifelike did with the detail. I know it's plastic, but is really well done. I am going to try and hunt down some more of those Hi-cube cars, they will look great behind my UP GP7. Steven.

Hi Steven, what an amazing model, I have never seen these Proto 0-8-0 Locos before. Great detail and a very smooth quiet runner, that pulled 18 wagons easily. A very nice rake of mixed wagons, loved the box cars. Cheers, Paul.👍👍🙏

@paulvozman842 Hi Paul, it was a bit of good luck that I found it. Couldn't be happier with its performance, it doesn't have tyres on it either. That Bachman boxcar really caught my eye when I saw it. I'm not sure of when it was produced, but they did a good job on the shell. Cheers mate. Steven.

@carlgauntletttrains3026 Hi Carl, it was a such a good buy, it might be one of the best locos I have purchased in that price range. I would certainly buy another. Thanks mate. Steven.
