Core hunter having decapitated heads on a sash is brutal

Either way Core hunter as a whole is pretty brutal because him collecting cores feels like the equivalent of tearing out their hearts as trophies.

@@reverbtheraptor8529not to mention he's essentially a rogue cop, who kills other cops and this version of him collects heads and wears them.. christ he only gets darker...

I remember seeing somewhere that an earlier idea for breakout was that they would fire the handcuffs out as a projectile. also, the head on speeda demon I think was actually a prototype battera head that was just lying around. also also, the original name for core hunter was head hunter, which combined with his backstory, was a wee joke from lego.
@aidenwallin35236 ай бұрын
Yeah, you can see the handcuffs as the "disc" he was talking about on the Bulk prototype. That's why it had the chains. It was just hard to see the gaps in the cuffs because they were facing the gun.

Its crazy how much Core Hunter got nerfed, and yet he still ended up being the coolest non-titan villain to come out of Hero Factory

I love how the prototype core hunter still has the hero chest plate, excellent bit of visual storytelling.

I honestly really like the more outlandish and alien look a lot of the prototypes have. It gives each character their own unique proportions and silhouette. Stand any 2.0 or 3.0 heroes next to each other and they all have the exact same build at their core. In fact, most main heroes in constraction sets were all basically the same. This would have shown how what you can achieve with the brand new CCBS system and inspired new ways to build constraction characters. Also prototype core hunter looks AMAZING! I wish I could’ve gotten that as a set. The finished model of core hunter is still great, dare I say my favourite hero factory set but the prototype is on another level.

Honestly, if invasion from below or even brain attack didn’t happen, some of this could’ve carried on the break out series…

I think Speeda Demon’s original helmet was a reference to Jay Garrick, or the first Flash to appear in dc comics. He has an iconic metal hat with wings on it which looks very much like Speeda Demon’s, also it would make sense that a speed junkie would wear the symbol of the fastest man alive.

So many neat pieces! Bulk especially looks like a goldmine of neat ideas. The "spaceship" add-on, the scope on the gun, and especially that ammo belt! Much better than the ammo belt we officially got. Also, indeed, that gun is totally a handcuff launcher. And that is an incredible idea. I imagine both cuffs would be in the launcher and would separate when fired. Also gotta love all the recolored bones. Stormer's blue and Stringer's orange. Could've really used more bone colors.

I’m kinda vibing with the prototype of voltix. I like the mix of pieces from 1.0 and 2.0. If they perhaps added a more of the red, maybe for the skeletal aspect of the legs, I would have definitely had preferred that than the original
@joeld.20046 ай бұрын
Just as a reminder, like Von Nebula, Core Hunter was once himself a Hero. It really makes the fact that he was originally depicted wearing Hero "skulls" even more grim than it already is. I also feel like the use of that one armor piece on the prototype's chest would have been a lot more fitting; the circular part in the center would be right where his core would have been as a Hero.
@skullgrindor54216 ай бұрын
Now im dead set on making a core hunter moc inspired by the concept, but better. Mainly, he needs to have cores on him somewhere as well as skulls.

I think that you should do this for the prototype Bionicle sets. I remember seeing the prototype Bionicle sets online before the sets came out. I remember how Pewku and Gucko were both originally going to be green and we would have gotten green versions of Lehvak Kal's weapon which I was looking forward to getting, but disappointed that we didn't get that part in that color on the final set. Another would be how the prototype Vahki canisters had the lids of the Rahkshi canisters, but because the Vahki canisters had the lids be facing upward instead of downward like with the Rahkshi, than the word "Bionicle" would be displayed upside down. I have to say, that would have been hilarious to see, but it makes sense that they changed the lids to what we actually got in the final version. I'm not too bummed out that they didn't reuse the Rahkshi lids for the Vahki canisters, but seeing the word "Bionicle" upside down still would have been funny.
