Decided to pair the Rockaway 8K Reel from Okuma with the new Bixod Rod from Kil Song. It was either the 6K or 8K but decided on the larger spinner. I chose this reel because it's a long distance caster that has a high line capacity rating & holds a lot of line. I was going to splice on a mono top-shot but will try it "as is" first.
