@@bugbuster8598 it's been a steep learning curb and there's alot depth. But I wouldn't let that put you off. The community is very supportive, especially with new players. The key is to find an active community that fits your needs. Some communities run boot camps and weekly training sessions.

@@MajPickles I mean, the depth is EXACTLY why I'm interested in purchasing this game. The problem is comms and squad coordination. I simply don't know when I should say "over" or why they sometimes go like "charlie bravo echo foxtrot" and nothing really comes out from it for me. Maybe it's because english isn't my primary language. I get it when somebody says calmly "Enemy South-East, 200 metres/behind (insert color) building" or when they say "Enemy FOB on Charlie 6" or something like that. Sometimes it just sounds overwhelming and needlessly complicated, like they do it only to sound like "rEaL miLiTAry".

Yep with the vehicles that close together not only are they a better target for an IED, but if they take contact they can’t even support each other very well. 2 gunners next to each other getting shot at can both be suppressed by a single weapon, and they’re both essentially looking at the same thing from the same direction. Having that dispersion means that you now have two angles on one spot, and cover from one angle might not be cover from another, and an extra 50 meters of distance doesn’t mean much to rounds traveling at like 3000fps. By being further apart you end up being safer.

These Liberation things are really fun to watch, I'm always torn between between getting on the server and trying it or getting on Prairie Fire...man I'm addicted to Prairie Fire. A few friendly tips for comms that will help make it a bit more efficient: 1. If you're calling someone I'd skip saying their callsign twice unless you're having trouble getting replies from them. 2. There was a lot of "6-7 this is 6-6" which isn't wrong, but trimming it down to "6-7, 6-6" is also correct so when things are high tempo its useful to make things as concise as possible. 3. You only need to open with both callsigns to initiate the conversation, not for each exchange that follows. On reply #2, 3, 4, etc. start off with their callsign or "this is (your callsign)." When a 3rd party starts stepping on comms its back to square one, otherwise no need to remind them who both the participants are in each transmission. 4. This one is a little bit pedantic but "how copy" is one of those overused Hollywood tacticool jargon things and that has trickled down to games. Realistically how copy is for when you're actually unsure if the comms are working well, when things are going smoothly saying it anyway is a condescending remark.
