Another thing I noticed later is that the book, "The Price of Destiny," is by Lillian de Bois. And Breyson says that he was forced to refer to his father's wife (Ben's mom) as "Lilliana." So ya, we're definitely meant to connect the book to the Bayu family.

If you ask the follower at madame sauvages what they see when they take aurora they describe it the same way an artifact vison is described.

Woah hadnt considered there could be other starborn that are hiding in the game. The designs in the astral lounge are pretty convincing.

I mean it only makes sense given how "many" (relatively seen) are around. Anything else wouldn't make sense. In one ending you can take your whole crew (or it always goes, or partly goes, I forgot). Then add the Hunter, Emissary and Hermit. The Va'ruun founder likely became one. And then all those random unnamed SB NPCs. Chances are there's various SB who 'settle down' like the Hermit or simply bide their time a bid before they move on, perhaps.

Oh I definitely need hunk that there are other people who are secretly starborn, I think Barrett is one of them for a very obvious reason. Each artifact that is touched only affects the first person who touched it. The artifact that Barrett first touched was in the lodge. Therefore it wouldn’t have had any affect on him. Also Barrett has been in constellation longest yet doesn’t want to lead it. He also is very intuitive and very well spoken. I think that he is definitely one of the secret starborn before the game even starts

It only makes sense to be fair - on the contrary not having various "Starborn" embedded in a universe's or human's society somehow makes even less sense. The Emissary and the Hunter are just the most generalized archetypes of Starborn, like Jedi or Sith. But picture it - what would you do? Other than playing Jedi or going for the grind if would be like in reality being able to reload a savegame to a prior point in time but keeping the knowledge. But in this case you also keep some skills. Some people would opt to "min-max" their standing in society for example, obtain some relative position of power. Run an Empire, as in, an economic one if not some classic one. Others would maybe go for a specialized skillset, become good at some type of sports, survival, expand their knowledge. If I could endlessly try again, I'd likely try to rise to the top of some organizations or run my own if I could, depending on when you are set back in life. Even if you have a tough upbringing which would originally or formally bar you from some possibilities or if you aren't set back early enough, it could become as easy as knowing what to invest in to suddenly obtain massive wealth. Where to engage and with whom to engage to expand your connections. Or hell you could just remember the lottery numbers and get millions. With that, possibilities quickly open up. I have experienced that even without being born into the right family or wealthy family that depending on where you are at the right time and when you meet the right people, that even as a relative underdog you can open up societal possibilities. So it's kinda nuts what you could do if you could constantly retry and reset the clock, so to speak. Sorry for nerding out at end, but just proving that there's likely in-lore some Starborn you never get to identify other than the archetypes of the Hunter, Emissary and Pilgrim. The Pilgrim is sort of the best example as archetype alone.

After putting in over 300 hours into Starfield I have realized that it is one of the most bare bones Bethesda games ever made. The amount of procedural generation on planets means that nothing interesting happens. The worst part is the lack of multiple interior layouts making every location feel exactly the same. I didn't like Fallout 4 when it came out but I went back to it and it is so much better than Starfield. Starfield being bad can be shown objectively through many of these things which are not just opinions but wouldn't be acceptable in any other game.

(Edit, To clarify I wasn't meaning to sound so direct in my annoyance at you per say I'm just so tired of seeing this argument being made I got a little fiery but hey at the core I just wish people would just sit back and enjoy themselves) As large as the world space is you might as well be grasping at air, while your point is there might I add that the amount of detail to the set universe is fantastic! Playing it that long I have to imagine you roleplayed whilst going along or were you just sitting there picking things out and just ruining it for yourself? AI generated or not you can't deny the level of detail that's in the game it's just a small part of an entire game it's barely relevant when you've got other things to think about... (That's right I said it, TF does it matter if you're character isn't Meta? Why question a mechanism? Why dictate one thing as why you think a game is bad?) Was I some guy sitting at my TV? Hell no! I was Captain Jaxson and I was along for the ride to what the world has to offer, I was putting myself into political debates, imagining scenarios and all around funny moments all the way! It's a brand new world mate! If people wanna out themselves for lacking imagination then that's out of bounds to what the game has any control over...

@Ghost-Of-The-Night A roleplaying VIDEO GAME made by a triple A studio. The onus is not on the player to pretend they are playing a better game, especially one at full price. There's nothing to ruin in Starfield, its loud and clear about its lackluster quality.
@Ghost-Of-The-Night Жыл бұрын
@@corruptofficial8638 At what part did I say pretend it's a better game? Is it that hard for you to grasp the idea of immersing yourself in a RPG world? Lmao! (Nothing you've brought up shakes the points I've made) Look at Morrowind, the game itself is meh but the universe is fantastic now apply that to this new franchise. Also let's just agree to disagree alright? I'm not actually putting the game worlds side by side I'm just saying that there's something to enjoy even if you don't happen to like the mechanics or whatever... I actually roleplay on Amino every now and then so I suppose it's easier for me to immerse myself into things so I will apologize to my previous comments to those who haven't come to that way of looking at it. (the negativity the game's gotten so far just ruins it for so many people who are new to RPG and on some level I suppose it just urks me)
