When me and my ex girlfriend were watching the first Fast movie, she claimed the Eclipse sounded like a Toyota.....................3 hours later after having a heated exchange, I proved to her that since she was a know it all, she couldn't find any Toyota that sounded like that plus to this day she still believes Gallo 12 is a real thing

What I am failing to understand, and maybe its because I am not a car guy... But why did he add NOS to the car? Why not a bigger turbo or twin turbo? And if he was going with a multi stage direct port kit, why not run it wet? Either way to make the NOS effective he is going to have to run a compression/piston the turbo wont like and a fuel the turbo wont like.

Nice! How’s the maintenance, on an old 4g? Is preventative maintenance enough to keep you from breaking down?

@@TheRacingJoker well I bought it brand new in 1998. The original engine made it to 260k and that's not bad considering I used to take it to the track about twice a month and drove it pretty hard. I just put a new engine in during the pandemic, but yea everything held up surprisingly well, no rust and no major damage on the body, it must not be bad because I get offers on it all the time, but it's sentimental at this point, I know car the inside and out to the t.

You don't have to do all that. Just put a turbo kit and the Greddy blow off valve on a Eclipse GS which is a 420A car. And put a Greddy Evo muffler on it with a resonator delete and you have the sound.

@@jeremywillis7407 it’ll sound similar, but the 420a Eclipse isn’t what the sound teams used for what you hear onscreen. What I described is what they used and would therefore be the most accurate

@@TheRacingJoker Evos 1-3 are my dream cars man, along with the Eclipse GSX, they look so good and the early DSM 4G63T is in my opinion, better sounding, but just slightly. I’m 16, and I’ve been working for a year or two for my dream car, and now I got it, I’m a lucky man. It’s also RHD, and I’m just a Mitsubishi Kid, since I was two and saw Paul Walker and his Eclipse, he’s my hero lmao. I got the Evo a few months ago, 92 model year, 77k miles for 13-15 grand. The Galant VR4 is underrated as hell, it’s also badass. Maybe you should do a tier list of underrated cars?
