PROVING GROUNDS GUIDE: FIRST FIVE MISSIONS, NO GLs REQUIRED

I’m super proud of myself, with no GLs I’ve gotten every proving ground kill with only malgus and Ben not 3 star. Ben just took GAS and malgus took a Frankenstein of JKL, Revan, Hoda, GK, and Malak.

How was your modding and relic leves for the malgus mission?

@@gabrielporras5909 relic 7 JKL and GK, relic 3 Hoda and JKR, and relic 5 Malgus. I would consider the mods good but nothing godly, with offense heavy luke around 190 speed. I somehow just managed to 3 star the fight with ridiculously good RNG with that team after after only 60 shards. It’s a crazy rng heavy fight with my setup, probably took 50 restarts each time I killed it.

Lots of resetting until you get a start where people are alive. The core is Hoda, JKL, and Malgus, if one of them goes down you can just restart. Besides that, paying close attention to the turn order and making sure you don't end up with a deathmark on the wrong person. Deathmark goes on whoever does damage next after the current deathmark person dies. You want to try and avoid it going on your own characters and you want to avoid letting it go on malgus unless Revan is alive for you to mark down the other people to kill. @@stenschmidt4971

I manually cleared BFSOJ and SCYTHE at 3* with CREX PHOENIX HS/KJ/C/SW/CR and managed 2* Vs interceptor with the same team on Auto. Sabine Died but the rest of phoenix went in to a loop, it took a while as they had to kill Reva three times, the dots piled up of the rest to over 100 before they eventually got turns

CAT is no longer possible with CLS. At least not at R5. People are saying GLs can't even complete the CAT mission now. EA/CG STILL won't do anything about their breaking changes from nearly a year ago now.

If u have bariss at relic level, u can auto the CAT one with a starkiller team. Just pump her full of health and she heals your team for more than they get damaged. Same goes for maul, saw, razor crest and scythe. The maul one takes a minute, but u can consistently 3* it on auto. The maul one isn’t a consistent 3* on auto but you’re in no danger of losing the battle and it only takes like 30 or 45 seconds to auto. My lineup is palp, Mara, starkiller, visas and bariss. U can swap cls for visas if u don’t have her.

If I'm not mistaken, the Proving Grounds were marketed as a "catch up" mechanic. These end up being the most frustrating things to do in the game.

GAS 501st got 3 stars for me on the Ben Solo battle. R7 GAS, R7 Fives, R5 on the rest. All about timing the massive damage from the global modifier and letting their damage immunity kick in, and making sure GAS is standing to eat the sudden whirlwinds

I needed just one win to unlock tie interceptor. I didn’t need 3 stars. I didn’t have Darth Talon but used GL Kylo in her stead, Traya still being the leader. I got it! Thanks a lot man! 🥳

Today I did my first proving grounds, I have Jabba and he beat every one of them! Added context in case it helps anyone reading this: Standard line up did it for all except tie interceptor. That needs beskar Mando in the 5th slot 3* all of them except tie interceptor and malgus, both 1* but only took like 3 tries to get it on each

My first proving ground. I've managed CAT, Tie IN, Boba and Malgus however Ben swolo and Maul were too hard. I've pretty much used only 1 team, which is R5 Sith Trio, R8 Malak and R5 Talon (swapped with R7 KRU for Malgus). Malgus event was hard and depended a lot on RNG and everything but Malak was squishy. After 1 hour I beat it with Traya, Nihilus and Malak alive

I finally got Ben 3*. JML, GAS, JKL, Shaak, and HYoda. I just kept going after Ben and Rey until they were defeated and then auto the rest of the way.

Still can't figure out TIE Interceptor or Malgus without a GL but the Ben Solo tier can be one starred with Padme, GK, JKA, JKR (and I think GAS is best)

I beat the Malgus with three stars with total cheese first off out Bastilla as your lead then JML, WAT, HODA and GAS. once wat puts that tank tech on JML he is almost invincible then you just have to focus on damage and healing and debuffing and taking out the enemy one by one.

Maul does well vs malgus if you can get him to survive long enough, You just have to keep him topped up at 5 stacks of anguish so he can keep resetting Malgus' cool downs. So turn 1 Aoe Turn 2 Seething Rage on Malgus once and then the death marked enemy once Turn 3 Aoe again Rinse and repeat untill malgus is the last one left and with in range to take out with all 5 Seething Rage hits I personally did it with an LV team but basically just put Marked on LV, and used him and RG as meat shields while Maul did the heavy lifting I don't see why it wouldn't work with a Mando Team or just a bunch of tanks

Can you do another video for CAT after the ISC Rework? My R8 Han (Zeta applied), R5 CLS (Both priority Zetas, no Learn Control), 3PO, Chewpio, and R6 Chewie (Loyal Friend Zeta applied) are getting leveled due to ISC. Tried attacking maul, Gar, and ISC first and don't last more than 1 or two turns.

I’m able to beat Ben Solo with this team HOWEVER, takes me a lot of attempts and I only get 1 star. But at least I get the shards! Traya (Lead) Darth Malak Darth Revan Sith Empire Trooper Starkiller The goal for me is to keep Starkiller and Malak alive. I have everyone using their aoe’s to counter and take down their health. I if Malak has his drain ability , I use it on Ben, otherwise I only attack BB8 because of countering and calling to assist.

That phoenix battle is the one thats given me the most trouble.. that padme squad is a nice solution to it. Dont know if mine would work since their not all at relics yet but so far Ive found my JKL lead comp is the easiest way to get through that one Edit: im dumb and forgot minimum is r3 for proving grounds.. 😅
