One thing that I've always wondered, but never asked, does the RB25 come with a single turbo like the RB20? I would imagine it does, but I haven't seen any RB25s here in my area and I don't know much about them. I believe the RB26 is the only RB that comes twin turbo, but you don't know for sure if you don't ask, right? I have always wanted to build a RB25 Neo or even a RB30 in a S32 chassis. The S32 has always been one of my all-time favorite body styles of any car...except for the 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000S Quattrovalvole in red with gold wheels. I'd still be willing to give a testicle for one of those Lamborghinis. I'm 39 btw...I grew up with Countach posters on my wall.

My uncles had a Datsun 260z and an s14 with 3 motors laying around, rb25 rb26 and an Ls and they realized it would take more money to get the power gains they wanted out of the 25 so they drove it like a stolen car for months trying to blow it up. Redlining every gear to the gas station😂 it wouldn’t blow up so they j swapped it w an Ls. That motor was a champ tho

RB engines have oil pump problems. At high rpm the oil pump gear spins free cause there’s a slack on the crank collar and the pump gear that sits on it. Long story short your gonna blow that engine up. The main reason why RB isn’t as reliable as JZ is this oil pump issue, secondly, the oil pump pumps WAY too much oil into the cylinder head and floods it, so it needs to be drained with a tapped return line into the oil pan.

I have a stock internals rb25det making 581hp 5 years now and it hasn't skip a beat .. Nothing is wrong with the oil pump in rbs u have keep the limiter at stock 7500rpm
