great video did amazing explaining all of the wires n what they are used for thank you! i recently did a jvc kw750bt head unit on my 2002 vw jetta tdi and my reverse lights dont work does it have something to do with the green/purple wire ? and the wire that came on the head unit?

I dont think my blue tooth works if you don't hook up parking break. Won't let me into blue tooth settings

Bluetooth works, you just cannot access settings without connecting the parking brake wire. You can use the pioneer bypass (see our video for that) or you can correctly hook it up

Where do you wire the blue cable from the metra antenna adapter? I have the same XSVI-9003-NAV harness going to a pioneer headunit with an aftermarket amp installed.

To the blue or blue/white wire (ant control) on radio harness if you have a powered antenna.

I just bought a used mk4 gti with this head unit and it previously had a sub in the back and now the audio won’t work since that was taken out, the Bluetooth and everything works and it shows the audio playing but no noise is coming out, any tips

I'd check to see if the factory monsoon amplifier is still there in the rear cargo area pocket. That may be missing as well.

It's wired for the SWC module, but the Axxess ASWC-1 is sold separately. This vehicle wasn't equipped with SWC which is why it was present in the video. amzn.to/3ilRprp
