Sorry my question is where did you run/hide the 9wire to/ through

That ABS plastic, such a simple but clean way to step up the look and clearance off of carpet for cooling air flow. I'm definitely stealing that idea for my personal vehicle! Thanks for your content, avid watcher and bass head.

What thickness ABS is desired to mount mid sizes mono block amps to?
@ProvoBeastAudio7 ай бұрын
@@tannermiller3031 if under seats, 1/8 inch is just fine on flat surfaces. If vertical services, i'd use 1/4".

This is actually very old install method using the abs lol . But Go get me wrong I love those haha moments and I think - That's an amazing idea and why didnt I do this before ! 🤠👌

Now why is a bypass kit needed and what does it do exactly? Looks like it has LOCs, so if I have the JBL amp, I can't just use the line level inputs to that amp as my inputs to my new aftermarket amp and then wire the aftermarket amp outputs to where the outputs of the JBL amp go?
Yeah , this should have the loc built in . I don't get it either lol

Hi, How did you attach the ABS plastic to the carpet, so that it doesn't move ? Thanks
@juanayala509 күн бұрын
I used Velcro from Amazon stick the adhesive side to the back of the plastic and stick Velcro to carpet

If I’m not powering the rear speakers to the kicker do I still solder those wires to the 9wire or just leave them ?

Can the factory speaker wire handle that much power?
@JasonWW20007 ай бұрын
Yes, easily.

Just a question, what mode do you use if you want to also increase the volume of the rear seats speakers (you can barely hear them with the normal head unit), I see the customer wanted just the front ones through the amp
@ProvoBeastAudio6 ай бұрын
You can increase the gain for the rear speakers. Just be careful as that can open up potential distortion.

Dont these little amp get very hot?
@JasonWW20007 ай бұрын
They should run quite cool. Two of the channels are running the tweeters so that's only a couple of watts at most. The other two channels are running the mids and might be 5w most of the time. If you crank the volume really high and you might see 10, 20 or 30 watts. Plus these amps where designed to be very efficient and run cool. A lot of folks mount these in the dash and have no issues with cooling. So being under the seat with all that air around it is perfect.
