Jett and Tomac best ever? Up there for sure, but no, Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, Chad Reed battles, the first one with outstanding numbers, basically crushed everyone for 10 years. James for technical abilities, Reed for grit and managed to adapt. Ricky is the best ever, he was handling someone who might be up there for motocross outdoor racing Everts who had such technique you see Jett use today. With all due respect to Tomac & Jett, but no, they are not Ricky or Bubba.

How can you make that comparison when back in the day the factory bikes were nowhere near as good as they are today not even close those guys that were riding the first four strokes were true warriors on experimental death trap machines not to take anything away from the newer riders talent because they are Phenomenal put it this way it’s like trying to compare Evel Knievel to Robbie, Madison both (insane)ly great at their chosen sport but their bikes made all the difference in the world!!! they are all amazingly talented just think of what James Stewart could have accomplished on todays 450s a man with absolutely no fear who’s only true competitor was himself Carmichael and reed fastest man on the planet at that time a man that blazed the trail for our future of our sport (the bubba scrub changed everything

Longevity and injury are a factor. Jet has already lost an outdoor 450 title due to injury. Ricky is the GOAT and more than likely will always remain the goat , a 150 wins and 15 or 16 titles is a huge mountain to climb. Ricky sat out the 2004 SX season to get his knee fixed and that was it. Jet has no room for error, because he’s already used his mulligan and he’s not even close to RC in stats.

No offense to Tomac but I think Jett will smoke him, no doubt, not even close. Remember all the slow starts to the seasons and sometimes things just weren’t right with the bike etc.? Also I think Chase is heading down the same inconsistent path, blazing fast until he isn’t.

It all comes down to starts for jett. He’s the most consistent rider of all time not the fastest. He’s fastest now compared to dudes who have had way more injuries(which slow you down) he’s an incredible talent but this kind of fan base(aj) is part of why most Americans don’t care for him. We all liked reed better

Everybody says they like these aftermarket levers I don't know man. I've run I don't know how many thousands of miles with "factory" levers I don't ride dirt bikes I ride street bikes & I don't ever break them, if i do $12 bucks lol. To each their own. I've always enjoyed the factory clutch feel so i keep that

You do a good job of explaining, a good teacher will recognize what level the rider is at and help them improve, as a student learn the basics, it will save you heart aches and time with a instructor because what I've seen is not everyone can ride

Its the bike not the rider...No i m just kidding ...when the bike is important is when u get to the top 5 guys in the MXGPs an the top 5 guys in the AMA nationals that small perecentage of 10 percent better fork an shock an motor a holeshot versus 10th place start...when ur racing a guy who at ur skill level...BUT NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN KEEPING WEIGHT ON UR SUSPENSION where u need it when u needed...dont get crazy getting ur fork an shock modifyed is important if ur gonna race at ur local track thats really ruff ruff...if ur are light rider for a 125cc school boy an a 250f u can use the stock fork an shock...useally but the closer u get to pro speed an seat bouncing talent u want ur fork an shock modded for plushness for out doe...sx is another setting...dont do like i did my first 2 stroke 125 i put a stage 3 600 mods in the motor an left the fork an shock in stock valving...almost killed myself...trying rtytyhm stuff the fork an shock were dead no action...modern bikes are way better...suspension is important for racing key is a good shop too...
