It's genetic in my case to have dark circles, BUT now that I'm 43 and my kids are grown enough and I'm not wanting to party all the time like in my teens and twenties, I'm prioritizing sleep. It freaking works. It also helps that I don't wear foundation or concealer unless I'm going to an event. Which is never haha

I’ve had two PRP treatments. Going for my third in 2 weeks. I have hallows and fine lines. I think I see a difference. I know it takes months for full affect. I will say I can see a difference with foundation/concealer on.

You can get similar results from microneedling with hyaluronic acid. It just takes several sessions. Ive done 5 sessions on myself because im an esthetician and i definitely have better skin texture and reduced fine lines than i did when. I was younger.

You don’t have to do microneedling for under eye PRP, it’s just commonly done together. But you can get it without if you prefer. Though it’s not that bad, and personally I’d do both for max benefit.

U're trying to get them on a technicality when ur profession would have afforded u the ability to easily read through the lines. Ur comment is what an average Joe would reply. U can't tell this person meant there can be trauma to blood vessels when they're hit and then injected during the initial injection? It's ur folks who aren't medically educated that would not have picked up on that. U, however, are 30 years deep. U should know as an RN that u inject into the bloodstream...planned. Hitting a vessel on accident is most likely going to cause trauma to the lumen. Damage to the lumen can cause thrombosis. And, u realize PRP has a concentration of platelets? Do u understand that platelets are the source of clots? So, just hitting the lumen and then possibly injecting it with concentrated platelets is a recipe for disaster. It would cause severe occlusion, as even more platelets from the damaged vessel come flooding to the site. This is exactly what the person meant. It's what's concentrated in that injection along with going into the vessel with it on accident. U know most accidental injections into a vessel cause vessel trauma because the person doing the injecting did not handle the vessel with care as u normally would. I feel that I broke this down for u as if u weren't medical, therefore, u absolutely have to pick up on it this time.

I'm kinda skeptical, if centrifuge time and rpm are always chosen correctly, so that growth factors don't end up in the pellet or are disrupted by sheer forces or any additives. You can get it all over the face but consider that the folds around the mouth become pronounced when we have volume loss around the cheek bones and periauricular - so we need to add volume back to those areas to lift and stretch out skin to reduce the nasolabial folds. Filling the folds just makes them heavier.
